The Southside Film Institute and Haydenfilms announced that the third annual Image over Word™ (IoW) filmmaking competition’s Online Audience Award was awarded to Northampton native Collin Kornfeind for his rendition entitled "The Pro.”
Four films from the Haydenfilms 2007 and 2008 Online Film Festivals will be screened during the 4th Annual HollyShorts Film Festival from Aug. 7 through 10, 2008 and during September. They include last year’s grand prize winner, “The Boot of War,” and two of the four finalists, “Blindness” and “Forgotten Souls,” as well as “Little Wings,” which is entered in this year’s festival.
The Belgian competitor "Tanghi Argentini" by Guy Thys receives the award of the 2008 MUNICH INTERNATIONAL short film festival, being granted Kodak film material for his next project.
Last year was a milestone year for the Haydenfilms Online Film Festival with the four finalists representing France, Mexico, Scotland, Spain and the U.S. Our globalization continues with our 4.0 Online Film Festival with entries from the likes of talented filmmakers like 25-year-old Vincenzo Cosentino from Italy.
